Rolling Up the River

The Henry Hudson Drive is a cyclist's paradise. Due to an avalanche several years ago automobile traffic is not allowed on the Drive north of the Palisade Avenue exit. The 2 lane drive travels along the base of the Palisades under a canopy of tree branches. The Hudson River follows you on your right. The roadway rolls up and down except for a climb at the Palisades Avenue exit and a long climb to the Alpine Exit.
